GKI: The minimum wage increase affected net earnings less than expected
The minimum wage increase affected net earnings less than expected. In case of the taxpayers, who declared themselves as minimum wage entrepreneurs, net wages between May 2016 and May 2017 increased by 2 percent.
An 8.5 percent increase occured in case of workers with minimum wage, while a 9 percent increase occured in case of wage earners on average skilled wage earners – according to a survey conducted by the GKI Economic Research Institute in May, which was sent to MTI on Wednesday. (MTI)
