GKI: economy is slowing, risks are strengthening
According to the GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. (GKI Economic Research Plc.), the Hungarian economy is on a slowing path and the risks are strengthening.
The GKI Economic Research Plc. forecasts that this year the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Hungary will increase by 2.7 percent, after last year's 3.6 percent. The company expects a 2.7 percent GDP growth for the next year, above all because of the temporary drop in EU fundings. The investments will stagnate this year, for next year will decline by 5 percent, while consumption this year will expand by 2.5 percent and next year will expand by 1.5 percent. (MTI)
