GKI: the balance is worsening slightly, the inflation is accelerating this year
According to the analysis of the GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. (GKI Economic Research Co.), external and internal balance slightly deteriorates this year, inflation is accelerating, but these processes are acceptable in the short term.
In Hungary, the faster than expected growth in the first quarter was followed by a slight slowdown in April, followed by a pick-up in May.
According to the forecast of GKI, the growth in the whole year will increase to 3.5 percent after the previous year’s 2 percent, mainly due to the investments that had rallied last year. (MTI)
