GKI: the Hungarians are not familiar with mobile payment apps
The Hungarians are not familiar with mobile payment applications. The spinning up of the market is expected from payment options integrated into community marketplaces such as Uber and from the appearance of applications such as Apple, Google or Samsung – the joint analysis of FinTech Group-GKI Digital.
According to the communication sent to MTI on Thursday, since 2014 ten Hungarian-developed mobile payment apps are available in Hungary, but barely 8 percent of the users tried out the mobile payment applications of the banks and mobile operators andmore than 70 percent never used the domestic mobile payment solutions again.
