Clash of the titans
Walmart and Amazon continue their battle. In September Walmart pulled Amazon’s Kindle readers from 4,000 stores and in October they started same-day delivery – a service that used to be one of Amazon’s biggest strengths. Amazon, currently still the world’s biggest online retailer only has 40 distribution centres to compete with 4,000 Walmart units. US media already likens this battle to that between Batman and Superman.
