Hungary’s first trading house in Africa opens in Ghana
At the end of July Hungary’s first trading house on the African continent opened in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
The Hungarian National Trading House Zrt. (MNKH) already has 13 representations all over the world. MNKH CEO Dr György Kerekes told at the opening ceremony that Ghana can offer many opportunities and can be a point of departure for Hungarian enterprises trying to enter West African markets. Ghana is one of the fastest developing economies in the world where the GDP grew by 7.9 percent to USD 40 billion in 2012. Demand is the biggest for agricultural and industrial machinery, pharmaceutical raw materials, industrial chemicals, renewable energy systems, oil and gas processing technologies.
