GfK: the market for technical consumer goods grew by more than 10 percent
The sales of durable technical goods increased by 10.6 percent in Hungary in this year's second quarter, compared to the same period of last year. The total turnover amounted to 135.3 billion HUF. All sectors have strengthened with the exception of IT and office equipments sector – the GfK market research institute told MTI on Wednesday.
On the domestic consumer electronics devices market, turnover increased by 27.4 percent. Flat-panel televisions had the largest share of the sales. The sales due to the European Football Championship increased exceptionally. Sales were 40.2 percent higher in the second quarter, compared to same period of the previous year – GfK drews attention.
