GfK: stable consumer confidence
According to the joint survey of GfK Hungária and the Corvinus University; consumer confidence appears to be stabilized. Beside the Consumer Confidence Index, the consumer expectations index also stagnates compared to the previous quarter.
The increase of the Consumer Confidence Index (FBI) of GfK Hungária and the Corvinus University has stopped, compared to July 2009. With its current level of 146.3 points, the measured level is beginning to stabilize on the level before the outbreak of the economic crisis. The Index of consumer expectations (FVI), changed just a little in September of 2009, compared to the the previous quarter, standing on still a relatively high level, with 180.4 points.
