Consumer sentiment deteriorated in Europe’s largest economy
The consumer sentiment weakened slightly in Germany, according to the consumer sentiment index published by the GfK Market Research Institute on Tuesday.
The figure calculated on the basis of a survey of about two thousand people decreased to 10.4 points. Analysts expected a better value of 10.8 points after the previous month’s decrease of 0.1 points to 10.7 points. A year ago, the value of the sentiment index stood at 10.8 points. (MTI)
