GfK: retail sales of daily consumer goods closed a difficult year
Retail sales of daily consumer goods closed a difficult year in Hungary last year. According to GfK, the majority of the categories was characterized by a fall in demand and a shrinking customer base.
According to GfK’s Wednesday statement, the value of household spendings on fast moving consumer goods increased by less than 1 percent, compared to the value of the previous year.
According to the realistic scenario retail sales in real terms do not change, and even the optimistic scenario states, that increase will be not more than 1 percent. (MTI)
