GfK: horticultural products are marketable in Hungary for four months
According to the datas of GfK Retail and Technology, the total revenue of horticultural products in hypermarkets and DIY stores slightly exceeded 40 billion HUF. The season is limited to only four months.
In the advent of spring garden works become actual. In 2013 the total revenue of horticultural products in hypermarkets and DIY stores slightly exceeded 40 billion HUF. The season is limited to only four months. There are two very strong months:April and May, when the turnover is almost the same. In June the traffic falls back by about 30 to 35 percent, compared to May, while July is characterized by stagnation, and the season virtually ends.
