GfK: Hungarians are optimistic before the elections as generally
The GfK’s Consumer Confidence Index rose slightly in the first quarter of this year, compared to the datas of last year’s end.
The consumer expectations are on their peak, due to the postive thoughts in connection with the short term one year prospects of the country. The purchasing mood, however, moderated to the levels of September 2013. Fewer people expect that the unemployment rate will increase.
The GfK Consumer Confidence Index rose by 3 points in the first quarter of the year, and its value was 173.9 points in March 2014.
