GfK: the crisis can still be felt on the market of consumer durables
In Hungary, the biggest increase occurred on the IT hardware market. The consumer electronics market was saved by the flat-panel televisions, due to the football World Cup as well as the conquer of LED and 3D technology market – contains the communication of Gfk Hungaria.
In 2010, the total market turnover of the sectors monitored by GfK Hungária, (consumer electronics, photography, small and large household appliances, IT and printing) was close to 266 billion forints. This is a 10 percent decrease, compared to the turnover of 2009. The rate of decline varies by sector – reports Világgazdaság Online.
