GfK: the rosé is the favorite of the youth
About a quarter of the turnover of spirits comes from wine sales. Although the customer base has shrunk by one-tenth in the past two years, the volume of sales has increased – shows the Household Panel Datas of GfK Hungária.
Today every third bottle is consumed at a hypermarket. The older people prefer the red and white varieties, while youngsters and people with higher-income prefer rosé.
Wine has a 25 percent stake in spirits retail, but with about two-third, the share beer products cleave the largest part of the total quantity.
