GfK: the Consumer confidence improved in the second quarter
In the second quarter of the year, domestic consumer confidence, the confidence in the future and willingness to buy also improved – reports the GfK market research company. The Complex Consumer Confidence Index, the Consumer Expectations Index and the Propensity to Buy Index also increased.
Slightly fewer people expest a growth in unemployment, the inflation expectations are also a bit more favorable than before. Respondents expect an average of a 10 percent growth in a year. In June 2011 the downward trend of the Complex Consumer Confidence Index reversed and increased by 14 points to 154.2 points – reports Népszabadság Online.
