GfK Hungária: declining consumer confidence
The value of the Consumer Confidence Index, decreased in the last quarter of 2010, compared to the previous growth, just like the consumer expectations index, which fell by 34 points, compared to the results of the previous quarter – reports GfK Hungária.
The decline is due to the deterioration in the assession of the population over both households' expected financial position, and over the country's economic situation. The Purchase Willingness Index (VHI) continues to stagnate, which is probably due to the Christmas season. The proportion of those who expect increasing unemployment rate also rose in December 2010 – reports marketinginfo.hu.
