GfK: The structure of the domestic online FMCG traffic approaches the structure of daily consumer goods turnover
According to GfK Commercial Analyzes’ study on this year’s first semester, households have rarely purchased larger amount of daily consumer goods between January and June 2017. In the first half of the year, the performance of discounts proved to be the best; and customer behavior became more reasonable.
In 2016, consumption of households grew more than in previous years, compared to the previous years beside a more moderate GDP growth, rising inflation, and substantial growth in earnings. By 2017 we can count on increasing EU subsidies, increasing investment and further boosting of consumption.
