GfK: decreasing overspending in December
In December, households are spending more on fast moving consumer goods, than in the other months of the year, but this difference is decreasing year after year – shows the datas of the GfK market research institute.
GfK has announced that in 2006, households spent about 25 percent more on fast moving consumer goods in December than in an average month. This difference decreased in the following years, and then stagnated in recent years. Last year, this data was 19 percent, and this year, the families are expected to spend 15 to 20 percent more in the last month of the year – the market researcher expects. (MTI)
