GfK: the tobacco law may result in the losses of jobs in retail
According to the GfK Market Research Institute; the tobacco law may result in the termination of up to 15 thousand jobs in retail. The new system ócan result the expansion of black economy and decline in budget revenues as well.
According to GfK’s statement; currently 42 thousand shops are selling tobacco products in Hungary, of which 19 thousand businesses complicate90 percent of the overall tobacco sales. The new legislation would limit the tobacco sales to 6240 stores – reports MTI.
