GfK: further moderate growth is expected in retail in 2018
The turnover of daily consumer goods in Hungary last year increased by 2 percent, compared to the figures recorded in 2016, according to GfK’s Commercial Analyzes in 2017.
The market researcher expects a further moderate growth this year, but at the same time it is likely to fall short of growth, compared to other countries in the region. Trends in the conditions of the purchase continued to grow further, and sales of discount stores and drug stores increased considerably from the commercial channels.
