Competition Authority: online trade of products advertised as antiviral has once again investigated
Rigó Csaba Balázs indicated that the number of complaints related to devices, hand disinfectants, masks and tests used to protect against the coronavirus pandemic has increased recently.
A new phenomenon is, among other things is that the advertisements refer to the approval of state authorities, even though only the announcement of the product occured. The competition authority also encountered cases where the certificate could not be opened or read on the website. In these cases, the GVH will launch an investigation and take immediate action to shut down these websites, the GVH President explained. (MTI)
