Nestlé is leading the world rankings of business magazines
Nestlé reached first and fourth place in the rankings of two prominent business magazines, as a result of its food products and innovative activities.
Nestlé stands on the first place of Fortune Magazine's 2009 top list in the Consumer Food Products category. In the rankings of Fast Company Magazine – due to its high R & D activities – became the world's fourth most innovative food company in 2010.
Nestlé spends around 2 billion Swiss francs for food research and development activities annually. The Swiss Nestlé Research Center is the world's largest private nutrition research center, employing more than 300 scientists from 50 nations.
