With the cooperation of the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy (NAK), on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), the Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) and the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences (MATE), a farmer needs assessment will be carried out to lay the foundation for irrigation training in Szarvas. The purpose of the questionnaire is to start practice-oriented irrigation trainings based on the real needs of farmers, which provide assistance in the introduction, development and efficient operation of irrigation. The NAK asks the farmers to take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire, and with their experience and opinion, help shape the theme of the deer training courses. The questionnaire can also be filled out by farmers who do not yet irrigate, but are planning or considering the introduction of irrigation in the future.

The questionnaire is anonymous and is completed online

The questions concern, among other things, irrigation experiences and plans, knowledge and application of irrigation technologies, training needs, forms, duration and frequency of training. The received answers play an important role in the development of the training offer of the Szarvas Irrigation Development Demonstration and Training Center, which aims to contribute in the long term to raising the professional level and competitiveness of domestic irrigation management.
