Gastronomy is the theme of this year’s Japan Film Week
Gastronomy is the theme of this year’s Japan Film Week, which will take place from 13 to 17 June in the Toldi Cinema in Budapest – the organizers told MTI.
The five Japanese works, which were never showcased in Hungary before are not only provide insight into the traditional gastronomy of Japan, but also into the world of non-everyday winery and a dairy farm. It is common in the various films that the protagonists strive to master the traditions of their chosen craft, while finding the way to their own roots through the traditions of gastronomy – according to the announcement.
