Gallicoop: there will be no shortage of turkeys at Easter
There will be no shortage of turkey products at Easter – President and CEO of the Szarvas-based Gallicoop Zrt. told MTI in an interview.

Erdélyi István explained: against the goose and duck sectors, the turkey sector was indirectly affected by the bird flu epidemic, which did not developed at a similar scale in the past 12 years.
The bird flu epidemic did not affect Gallicoop’s egg stocks (3.6 millions are hatched annually) and the hatching-colonies, only small stocks had to be destroyed because, because they could not undertake the introduction of birds to the plants, due to the ordering of the protection and surveillance zones.
