Grain growers: 10-20 percent less grain yields due to the lack of rain
Due to the lack of rain, 10-20 percent less grain may be produced this year – the chairman of the National Association of Cereal Producers (GOSZ) told MTI.
Vancsura József said that about 100 millimeters of precipitation is missing from the ground in the country. If the weather will not be cooler and wetter, the harvest of barley may begin in the country in several places already before the day of Péter-Pál – he said. (MTI)
