Grain growers: the harvest of autumn wheat has been completed
The harvest of winter wheat in the country was completed according to the plans – the chairman of the National Association of Grain-Growers (GOSZ) told MTI on Monday.
Vancsura József said that the results of the harvest will be summed up on Monday. More detailed results are expected to be disclosed on Wednesday.
However, he said in advance: this year, the amount of autumn wheat harvested is expected to be about 10-15 percent less than last year’s 5.6 million tonnes. (MTI)
