TikTok launches fulfillment services in the UK
TikTok started providing logistics services to sellers in the United Kingdom. The company is introducing a program called ‘Fulfilled by TikTok’, or FBT for short.
TikTok, the social networking company owned by Chinese ByteDance, states that the new logistics program makes it ‘easier than ever’ for merchants using TikTok Shop in the UK to sell on the platform.
‘From storage to shipping’
The promise of Fulfilled by TikTok: “Through seamless integration with TikTok Shop Seller Center, we manage the entire fulfillment process, from storing to shipping your goods. We ensure swift, reliable delivery at a competitive rate.”
The United Kingdom has the privilege of being the first to receive TikTok’s logistics service. Merchants must be based in and deliver to the country to qualify for FBT.
Same-day automated fulfillment
After registration, merchants will provide a portion of their stock, which will be stored in a warehouse. Orders will then be picked, packed, and labeled before shipping. The company guarantees same-day, automated fulfillment for all orders placed by 7 PM from Monday to Saturday, along with a premium next-working-day delivery service.
Several TikTok Shop UK merchants have already tested the fulfillment service and have reported ‘fantastic results,’ according to the company.
