FruitVeB: weather badly affected the production of onions
The dry weather badly affected the cultivation of onions and potatoes, while sunflower and tomato closed a good year – the Executive Director of the FruitVeB’s Hungarian Vegetables and Fruit Association and Product Council told M1 news channel on Sunday.
Domján Erika said that the climate was not optimal for growing, because it would have to get the most moisture during flowering. He emphasized that such breeds should be chosen that can suffer this climate. (MTI)
