FruitVeB: the current weather does not cause major problems for a while

The current relatively warm weather does not cause problem for a while in the cultivation of vegetables or orchards – the Chairman of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation and Product Board (FruitVeB) told MTI on Tuesday.

Ledó Ferenc said that the rainless weather is favorable for crop just started. The warm causes small problems for crops in films in case of the cold-tolerant plants such as radish, lettuce and cabbages. These plants prefer lower daytime temperatures between 15-20 degrees. (MTI)
