FruitVeB: the current weather does not cause major problems
The current weather – relatively warm and rainy – still does not cause major problems in the cultivation of vegetables or orchards – the Chairman of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation and Product Board (FruitVeB) told MTI on Wednesday.
Ledó Ferenc told that in case of arable crops, if the current weather remains, and there will not be strong winds, the farmers will not be able to start cultivation in time. Peas, onion crops, carrots are usually sown in early March – he added. (MTI)
