The farmers harvest 420-440 thousand tons of vegetables from glass houses annually from 2500-2600 hectares area – Ledó Ferenc said.
Ledó Ferenc, Chairman of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (FruitVeB) told MTI on Thursday that the Hungarian early vegetables – such as peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers – have already appeared in the markets and in the chain of stores, especially larger quantities are coming from the thermal water heated glass houses, foil tents.
