FruitVeB: there can be problems with the transportation due to the Austrian road controls
Because of illegal immigration the Austrian police carried out checks near the Hungarian border, so there can be problems with the transportation of Hungarian goods – the president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation (FruitVeB) told MTI on Monday.
Ledó Ferenc told MTI that the truck drivers can not comply the rest time that is prescribed for them, because of the forced wait of 4-5 hours. The recording-device (tachograph) measures the distance traveled by the driver and the driver's working hours, which is 9 hours and 20 minutes after, the drivers must rest for eight hours. (MTI)
