Tesco’s food supply to expand with freshly prepared meals
Salads, sandwiches, wraps and pizzas ready to be consumed are also included in Tesco’s new product line introduced in the Central European market. In the self-branded offer, Czech, Polish, Slovak and Hungarian customers can choose even from sandwiches with traditional matured Hungarian salami.
Tesco, together with Tesco’s suppliers, has developed a new range of products that will be launched in June, consisting of six types of baguettes, garlic breads with two types of baking, real salad containing blackberries, burgers and six types of pizza. There are also six types of sandwiches in the range, two of which – the salami-egg and the salami-cheese – are special because they contain traditional maturing salami made in Hungary.
