From Friday, you can not use a plastic bag in Brussels’s stores
The legislation prohibiting the business the use of disposable plastic bags in Brussels and the Brussels region enters into force on Friday – the La Libre Belgique Belgian daily wrote on Thursday.
According to the information, the regulation covers all types of commercial units, even markets, regardless of the quality and nature of the goods offered for sale. However, the ban applies only to shopping bags available at the cash registers, not to bags offered as bulk packed foods. (MTI)
