Fresh Corner café opens at Corvinus University of Budapest
MOL has opened its latest Fresh Corner store in a new location, at Corvinus University of Budapest. The café, integrated into the university environment, is located at the Közgáz Campus, at the entrance from Fővám tér, and will be open to guests from January 20.
The Fresh Corner concept was launched ten years ago to reform the food offering at gas stations and provide a high-quality gastronomic experience that appeals to travelers and locals alike. Fresh Corner stores focus on freshness, varied food and friendly service.
As part of the SHAPE TOMORROW strategy
Fresh Corner is part of MOL’s “SHAPE TOMORROW” 2030+ strategy, which aims to bring the company closer to consumers and offer services that meet real needs. The opening of university locations aims to reach out to younger generations. Before Corvinus, MOL also opened a Fresh Corner store on the Gellért Campus.
A unique gastronomic experience on the Közgáz Campus
The Fresh Corner café, which opened at Corvinus University, awaits its guests from January 20. The café is open to everyone, not just university students, and offers the usual Fresh Corner quality and fresh food. The opening fell on a special period, in the middle of the exam period, so they are preparing for the start of the semester on February 17 with a special “Welcome back” offer.
Record numbers and successes
Endre Styaszny, MOL Hungary’s Head of Retail, said: “We are very pleased to be able to open our new café at Corvinus University of Budapest in the year of Fresh Corner’s 10th anniversary. The success of the record number of more than 10 million hot dogs sold in 2024 also shows that the expectation of quality and freshness is of paramount importance not only for travelers, but also for the younger generation.”
