Challenge International du Vin was a success
The „35. Challenge International du Vin“ competition took place in Bourg in Bordeaux on the 8th and 9th of April 2011. More than 5.000 wines from 38 countries have been rated at this competition.
The international jury includes experts from the wine trade as well as private wine enthusiasts with appropriate tasting experience. The intention of the organisers, Concours des Vins (CDV) is to arrive at ratings that are closely orientated in accordance with consumer preferences. For the first time this year points will also be published for wines that do not receive a medal.
The competition is certified in accordance with ISO 9001. The entire organisation of the event, from the handling of submitted wines to the composition of the jury right up to the internal procedures are thus carried out in line with a recognised quality management system.
