Fortune: The list of the 500 largest U.S. companies

Fortune has published their annual list of the 500 largest U.S. companies. Wal-Mart recovers first place from Exxon Mobil oil company, so Wal-Mart became the largest reatail chain again, after 2008.

On the basis of turnover the Wal-Mart food retail chain is the largest company in the U.S.A., followed by Exxon Mobile and Chevron on the second and third place. The most successful company with more than 19 billion USD profits, however is Exxon.
