Shape the future, in Hungarian, build a brand!
Do you think a Hungarian brand is a value? Could you name five brands that you consider Hungarian? There is a Hungarian awards programme that can name hundreds: it sees it as its mission year after year to draw attention to outstanding Hungarian products and services. In 2025, the MagyarBrands Programme rewarding excellent brands once again evaluated entries, and at its gala ceremony more than 60 outstanding Hungarian brands received a MagyarBrands award – including such defining companies as Ceres, Mofém and RS Bútor.
During the evening, however, they did not only present awards. They also celebrated stories. Performance. The effort invested in brand building. Innovation. Whether a brand proved itself in the consumer market, in business, or as an employer – the MagyarBrands award recognises this as well.
Since 2010, MagyarBrands has been benchmarking Hungarian brands and identifying the most successful ones in the categories of Excellent Consumer Brand, Excellent Business Brand and Innovative Brand. Shape the future in Hungarian – build a brand! – this was the key message of the 2025 programme, through which the organisers aimed to highlight two major strategic steps: the importance of planning ahead and building consciously.

During the evening, Hungarian poets and writers also came to life for a few moments with the help of AI (Digital Umami project)
The gala was enriched by video projects such as Digital Umami – also known from Instagram and TikTok – created by Nóra Bereczki, who connects literature, music and creative content making in her work. The film screened at the gala used AI to bring to life the well-known textbook portraits of Hungarian poets, turning them into smiling, walking, toast-raising people. Their movements were accompanied by lines of poems set to music. At the end of the evening, the Itt és Most Társulat delighted the audience. The special feature of their scenes built on employer–employee situations was that, after minimal coordination, they were created on stage through improvisation and spontaneous reactions.
Categories of Excellent Brands

The MagyarBrands glass awards featured distinctive medal seals in 2025
As a result of the MagyarBrands programme’s complex, multi-stage selection system – complemented by the opinions of professional committees – in 2025 the average awareness of the award-winning consumer brands among shoppers was higher than 71%, while their popularity exceeded 85%. This clearly reflects Hungarian consumers’ commitment to Hungarian brands. The awards in the Excellent Consumer Brand category were presented at the ceremony by Dr. János Serényi, Chairman of the MagyarBrands Professional Committee.
Hungarian brands operating in both B2B and B2C markets also performed strongly, as the reliability rating of the 2025 MagyarBrands award-winning excellent business brands was above 94%. This indicator assesses financial stability; above 70% a company is considered particularly stable and reliable. The awards in the MagyarBrands business category were presented to the winners by Krisztina Bódi, a member of the MagyarBrands Professional Committee.
At the ceremony, Mátyás Bendl, a digital marketing consultant, represented the Innovative Brand Professional Committee and presented the category’s awards. The recognition for Innovative Brands went to brands whose goal is not only to meet consumer needs, but also to adapt to the latest trends, and which are among the first in technological developments as well.

MagyarBrands also recognises outstanding employer-brand practices
Just as a chess match requires excellent moves to win, success in business also depends on making the right moves.
Among many other factors, success requires the work of a well-coordinated team. Every successful brand is backed by a strong team. Building, keeping and motivating such a team takes significant effort – and this is what the MagyarBrands programme recognises in its Employer Brand category.
The winners received the Excellent Employer Brand glass awards from Zita Kulcsár, Chair of the category.

The MagyarBrands award ceremony concluded with an improvisational performance by Itt és Most Társulat, addressing familiar workplace conflicts in a production that was educational, thought-provoking and highly entertaining
