A traffic vitalizing campaign will be launched in order to retain the Russian market
A traffic vitalizing campaign will be launched at the end of September in an amount of 26 million HUF in order to retain the Russian market – Ruszinkó Ádám, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told MTI.
He added that the number of Russian tourists dropped significantly since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine crisis in Europe, including Hungary, where the crisis has a particularly negative effect on the thermal tourism in Hévíz.
The Hungarian National Tourist Office, therefore, in cooperation with the dominant thermal water providers, the local government and the three largest Russian inbound travel agencies will launch a campaign in order to mitigate the downturn – he explained. (MTI)
