New hall allocation, new brand product villages, tried and tested quality
The trade fair trio InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat for the three fresh product segments dairy, frozen foods and ice cream, as well as meat and sausages, respectively, will be held from 23 to 26 September 2012 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.
Short distances, transparent product lines and a qualified international range of products and services characterise the freshness trio of Düsseldorf. The benefit of these three food trade fairs lies in their clear conception as specialty exhibitions. Trade visitors, including specialist buyers, commercial managers of domestic and regional trading centres, retailers and branch managers, as well as specialised consultants and specialised sales associates, are provided with a concentrated overview of innovations and product range depths offered by the suppliers from Europe.
“This concentrated overview with its concrete and hands-on ideas is part of the attraction of these three exclusive fresh-product trade fairs under the same roof,” explains Elke Moebius, Project Manager of InterMopro, InterCool und InterMeat 2012. She adds, „“For the food industry, maintaining contacts with the specialised buyers is extremely important and goes beyond the common conversations about terms and conditions. No matter whether you are representing a medium-sized business or a brand product – receiving specialist buyers on your own turf and convincing them of your competency is one of many important reasons to display at a tradeshow with the right ambiance, such as InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat.”
InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat attract visitors from the entire German-speaking region and the Benelux countries, and the list of retailers who visited the last event is impressive: Albert Heijn, Penny, Lidl, Aldi, Billa, tegut, Rewe, Edeka, Metro Cash & Carry International, Kaisers tengelmann, coop or Spar Österreich (Austria).
After the rather difficult years for the industry and the trade fairs, an important signal is coming from Düsseldorf for 2012. Visitors and exhibitors should know that InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat will present themselves in the coming years with an optimised, fresh concept.
This also includes the hall allocation on the premises. The first-time use of Halls 9 through 12 will offer a clear division between the three product groups offered by InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat, ensuring that the individual recognition of each trade fair is better than in 2010. In addition, we responded to the request of the participating industries to separate the technology area in 2012.
At the next event, the “Brand Product Villages” will be launched. Each of the three trade fairs is assigned a display area reserved for brand name products. Thus, these product representatives are given the opportunity by Messe Düsseldorf to shine a spotlight on their specialties. These lavishly designed villages with individual, open cubes for the participating producers also comprise a comprehensive, all-inclusive service package.
“Back to the roots” – this is another motto of the trade fair organisers from Düsseldorf. In future, trade fair specials will appear only as topic-related supplements and can be found in the exhibition halls. This is meant to provide greater focus on the clear concept of a specialist trade fair. Focus areas include those that are foremost on the minds of the industry, e.g. delicatessen, regional products or healthy food.
“Trade fairs are always a reflection of the current economic situation of an industry. In times of major structural changes, as they are currently being experienced by food retailers and therefore consequentially also by the food industry, we as trade fair organisers must meet the corresponding challenges,” states Moebius. She is convinced that the Düsseldorf food trade fairs will score with the specialist audience, “Discount companies and the resulting high number of in-house brands have shaken up the product range in the fresh food sector quite heavily. Now – in times when the trade brands are reaching their limits as well – the tables seem to be turning. Freshness, quality, origin and service are back in demand. This is a good foundation for well-designed trade fairs such as InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat 2012.
InterMopro, InterCool and InterMeat 2012, held in Halls 09 – 12 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, are open for trade visitors from 23 to 26 September 2012, daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
