Small and medium-sized enterprises have an important role to play in economic recovery
In the coming years, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will play an important role in economic recovery, and the government is therefore opening up new financing opportunities for them – said the State Secretary of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) responsible for economic strategy, industry, financial resources and macroeconomic analysis on Monday in Budapest. at the press conference of Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt.
Máté Lóga announced that the conditions of the Széchenyi Card Program may become more favorable, SMEs can also count on a capital program supporting investments and competitiveness, a new export boosting loan program, a loan and capital program supporting capital placements, targeted investment support programs, a digitalization package, business development programs, and electric car support program as well.
The state secretary is confident that, with the new opportunities, SMEs can give impetus to the ailing corporate sector, thereby helping GDP growth in the coming years.
According to his expectation, Hungary can look forward to a significant recovery even if the economic and competitiveness prospects of the EU remain unfavorable, and the most important partner states may sink into recession.
Máté Lóga considers the InvestEU guarantee program very important from an entrepreneurial point of view, which enables the investment of a total of almost HUF 600 billion. He also welcomed the fact that Garantiqa has become an indispensable guarantee organization in Brussels, as this has enabled it to have direct access to InvestEU funds as a partner institution in Hungary.
