It is important to give quality food to the needy children

It is important to give free food to all disadvantaged children in Hungary, and the ministry also pays attention to quality – the Minister of State Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources told M1 news channel on Friday.

Czibere Károly added: the financial support of food supplements per day has been increased to include all necessary nutrients.

The Minister of State recalled that in the past, 1200 – 1300 local governments had been involved in a tender system of free catering for the needy children for the summer holidays. By the end of 2015, however, the government decided that disadvantaged and needy children should receive warm food in all four (summer, autumn, winter, spring) breaks. (MTI)
