Decrease in retail sales continued
According to Hungarian Central Statistic Office the retail sales has been falling since the beginning of the year.
The
volume of retail sales adjusted for calendar effects decreased by 2.5% in the
first nine months of 2007, by 4.1% in the third quarter and by 4.6% in
September compared to the same period of the previous year. Compared to the
previous month the volume of retail sales adjusted for seasonal and calendar
effects fell by 0.6%.
