Europe’s tourism boom continues
The latest data from the European Travel Commission (ETC) revealed that Europe’s tourism boom continues, as it recently reached nearly 95% of international tourist arrivals in 2019 – the analysis was published in the VIMOSZ newsletter. Although travelers have recently faced economic problems, they have shown a strong interest in travel this summer.

Affordability will be a key factor in choosing a destination for vacationers within Europe
The published ETC report shows that among the best value European destinations are the following countries: Serbia (+27%), Bulgaria (+21%), Montenegro (+12%) and Turkey (+9%). Last year, the air traffic recovery lagged behind consumer demand across Europe, but now data for June shows it is edging closer to 2019 levels.
