The eggcompetition continues
Poultry consumption in 2017 may increase by up to five percent due to the reduced Value Added Tax (VAT).
According to the evaluation of the Poultry Product Council, the tax reduction on eggs can bring the most for the breeders. The Poultry Product Council estimates that in 2017 demand towards poultry products and eggs may increase by three to five percent. This is good news for domestic producers, because the displacement of import may create an opportunity for expansion. (by our colleague)
