Growth continues, MediaMarkt has found its way to the hearts of customers
MediaMarkt’s parent company, Ceconomy, saw significant growth in both turnover and profit in the first quarter of the 2024/25 financial year, despite the difficult economic situation, the group said in a statement. The results show that MediaMarkt’s strategy of being present simultaneously and in a coordinated manner in the online space and in traditional stores, i.e. the omnichannel model, has worked.
The key to MediaMarkt’s success is that it puts the needs of its customers at the center. Whether online or in stores, customers are met with high-quality service and expertise everywhere. The group is constantly improving its services, for example, offering personalized advice and minimizing waiting times in more and more stores with its online appointment booking system.
The numbers speak for themselves: Ceconomy’s revenue grew by 9.5% to €7.6 billion in the first quarter, and its adjusted profit rose by 12.8%. Online sales are also soaring, growing by nearly 16%.
