European consumer trends are also focusing attention on this product group and several trade programmes are concentrating on fruit and vegetables.
Fruit Logistica, the European summit for the fruit and vegetable sector, is held in Berlin every February. For the 32nd time, from 5 to 7 February 2025 more than 66,000 visitors from 145 countries will gather to visit the stands of nearly 2,800 exhibitors.
In 2025 Hungary will be represented by just 6 companies, sharing a single stand. Unfortunately, the number of Hungarian exhibitors is decreasing year after year, even if this trade show would be a great opportunity to spread the word about the high quality of our fruit and vegetables.

Hungary has sufficient water, plenty of light, geothermal heat and no extreme weather conditions, so everything is in place for safe horticultural production
Let’s not forget one of our country’s main professional programmes! Kert-Ész Club Hungary Association will organise the Zsendülés conference for the 10th time on 27 February 2025. No other conference brings together horticultural decision-makers, buyers and managers of supermarket chains and wholesale markets, micro- and macro-economic experts in the horticultural sector as Zsendülés does.
Trade magazin is the special media partner and sponsor of the event. Participants will get the opportunity to ask questions from the experts about the presentations, including the consequences of climate change for Hungary. We dare say there is great potential in Hungarian horticulture. This sector can be a breakout point that can provide a livelihood for lots families. //
