Increasing in-store visibility
Pick Szeged Zrt. and DS Smith Packaging Hungary Kft. regularly share their ideas with each other at workshops. Recently Pick Szeged Zrt. put the HERZ Vital product on the market: a modern product in line with the healthy eating trend, which is free from all kinds of artificial additives, colourings and flavour enhancers. The company wanted a simple but informative offering packaging for the product.
HERZ Vital had to stand our from the crowd, so DS Smith developed an SRP (Shelf Ready Packaging) solution, an offering tray with a lid that also serves as transportation packaging. The corrugated board is printed on three sides, so shoppers can see the information no matter which direction they approcahing from. This innovative packaging design is cost-efficient as well, it calls attention to the HERZ brand without any extra cost and less waste is produced during manufacturing.
At the 2018 PAKK packaging design competition the HERZ Vital SRP packaging won a gold medal in the Food/Meat Product category. The innovation’s design is patented. (x)
