The corrugated board markket under increasing price pressure

In the past months hardly any change occured in prices in the international market for corrugated board. However, the Hungarian corrugated market is characterized by different trends.

While on the European market, balanced price conditions can be found in trading, the 300 HUF euro exchange rate, the increase in transportation costs, as well as the increase in customer expectations put a continuously increasing price pressure to the corrugated board manufacturers in Hungary.

“The use of the latest technology will increase the productivity of the company, and allows the production of complex, innovative packagings that may have a significant value-added benefits on the side of the users” – Sigray Mária manager of the (Rondo Hullámkartongyártó) Rondo Corrugated Board Manufacturer emhasized.
